Carvico for the second year in a row have selected their new stock colour range in collaboration with one of the most important American designers, Mrs Rebecca Moses. Rebecca has once again selected both the 384 Matt XTRA LIFE LYCRA® and 544 Bright XTRA LIFE LYCRA® colour range, creating the ideal continuation and evolution of trends for the season.

The video below shows a summary of the emerging trends for Spring Summer 2014:

A palette of strong primary colours saturated in a range of rainbow inspired hues.  From grassy greens and sky blues, to bordering fluorescent acidic yellows, combined with candy apple reds and fun fuchsia brights.

Themes include a Tropicana 1950's influence, in combination with a psychedelic tribal punk edge, tweaked with a young fancy edge. Swimwear becomes vibrant with mismatched prints, exotic crafts and saturated colours.

A sophisticated palette of oceanic blues and celestial hues, complimented by mulberry and pale mauve's, plus deep sea aquatic tones highlighted by organic corals.

Themes include futuristic yet sophisticated structured shapes with organic lattice effects and cutouts. Iridescent colours with mismatched photo prints cascade around the body creating mythical surface effects.

A sun drenched palette of pretty colours with a vintage edge.  Natural sun bleached filters of blush, pale mauve, rich cinnamon and vintage ports with a touch of cornflower blue and a rose tinted twist.

A retro summer look with a radical redefinition of the way we see and perceive soft colours.  Themes are simply feminine with vintage aesthetics and cute ruffles.  Mix and match prints varying in scale with paisley and embroidery inspired finishes.

A mathematical pallet with a 3D element of saturated black.  Mingle with white and almost colours of charcoal, forest and stone, softened with delicate pale pink and baby blues.

The beauty and perfection of origami inspires swimwear shapes with mesh inspired strapping and inserts.  Combined with geometric compositions, this seasons look creates a double vision with optical effects, giving you a multidimensional style.

Eclipse have selected 19 new 384 Matt XTRA LIFE LYCRA® colours, and 20 new 544 BRIGHT XTRA LIFE LYCRA® to accommodate the above trends, which now gives you a combined range of 125 colours to choose from.

If you are familiar with the European CARVICO quality, you will know that they stand out from the crowd for their active commitment to technological innovation processes, and are considered the global leader in the manufacturing of warp-knitted stretch fabrics.  Below are a few improvements to their classic Matt and Bright base due to updated technology available.

//  The fluro colours in the 384 Matt XTRA LIFE LYCRA® are now on a polyester base to improve colour fastness
//  The LYCRA® content has been changed over to XTRA LIFE LYCRA®
//  All colours are now rated individually under the OKEO TEX STANDARD® 100 certification.

XTRA LIFE LYCRA® Fiber resists fabric breakdown more than 5 times longer than your average chlorine-resistant spandex.

Fiber breakage can cause fabric breakdown very quickly.  Swimwear garments using XTRA LIFE LYCRA® fiber have no significant fiber breakage even after 240 hours of exposure.
//  For a lasting gorgeous fit
//  Outstanding quality
//  240 hours of resistance
//  Resists fiber breakage and fit loss caused by sunscreen, pool-water and oxidation

XTRA LIFE LYCRA® fiber provides better protection for your brand, giving your garment an unstoppable attraction to your consumers.
